About the Area

Buying a home or cottage in Crystal Springs

Crystal Springs is one of the oldest beach communities on Pigeon Lake — in fact the second-oldest around the lake — tucked along the south shore between Norris Beach and Grandview, just north of the Village shopping plaza. It was named for the many freshwater springs that once ran openly to the lake, and today it’s a quiet, well-cared-for residential village.

Homes here range from stately lakefront properties to charming original cottages. It’s mostly a seasonal community with a growing number of year-round residents, and offers revitalized parks, a lake-viewing platform, and a genuine sense of community — close to the Village shops, yet a world away.
